Nokia 10 Penta-Lens Camera module
New rumors suggest that Nokia is moving towards implementing the Carl Zeiss technology on the upcoming smartphones. Reports say that this camera module will be seen on the Nokia 10 when it releases mid-2018. We also talked about why this Penta-Lens camera may feature Zoom Camera technology from Zeiss. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
WhatsApp for Business
World’s most-widely used instant-messaging app WhatsApp rolled out its Business app in select countries last week. Though the company did say that the app will soon roll out in India and Brazil. The company said that the app will be coming to these countries as early as this week. Notably, WhatsApp Business is available only for Android users right now. The app will let businesses create profiles with useful information like business description, email addresses and website those will be needed by their customers.
Vivo X20 Plus UD launched
World’s first in-display fingerprint scanning smartphone has been launched. The Vivo X20 Plus UD is the first smartphone to feature the under display fingerprint sensor. It uses the latest Synaptics Clear ID FS9500 sensor. The Clear ID FS9500 is reportedly designed for smartphones with infinity OLED displays.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD flaunts a 6.43-inch FullView AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The display sports an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset. The smartphone sports a 24-megapixel camera + 5-megapixel dual-camera at the back with DSLR-like bokeh effect, OIS and LED flash. At the front, we get a 24-megapixel selfie camera.
Xiaomi Upgrades Mi Notebook
Xiaomi has been upgrading the Mi Notebook Air lineup with latest processors for quite some time now. The company has now upgraded the 13.3-inch variant of its Mi Notebook Air laptop in China. The upgraded variant now comes with the latest 8th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The latest variant is up for pre-order at a price of RMB 5,399 (roughly Rs 53,800). The laptop runs Windows 10 Home Edition. It is also available in a new Dark Gray color.
Apple AirPods, Apple TV cash back offers
Citibank India has tied up with Apple to offer attractive cashback offers on its wireless AirPods and Apple TV. The offer is valid between January 20 and January 28.
