HMD Global has reportedly slashed prices of select Nokia smartphones in India. The Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 6.1, and Nokia 8 Sirocco will now be available at new prices at retail stores across the country.
The latest Nokia 3.1 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage was launched in August at Rs 11,999, and HMD Global has now reduced its price by Rs 1,000. This brings down the MRP to Rs 10,999, Gadgets360 reports. Having said that, the smartphone is already available at a discounted price of Rs 9,690 via Flipkart. The smartphone features a dual rear setup of 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.0) and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor (f/2.4).
Coming to the Nokia 5.1, the handset was launched alongside Nokia 3.1 for Rs 14,499 and it’ll now be made available at Rs 12,999 by Nokia. The handset features 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It sports a 5.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Internally, it gets an octa-core MediaTek MT6755S SoC.
For Nokia 6.1, the company has reduced the price for both 3GB+32GB, and 4GB+64GB variants. The smartphone after Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,000 price cut respectively, will now be made available at Rs 15,499 and Rs 16,499. The Nokia 6.1 aka Nokia 6 (2018) was launched in India in April this year. The smartphone had received Rs 1,500 price cut in August as well.

Lastly, Nokia’s flagship Nokia 8 Sirocco has received the biggest price cut among all variants. The smartphone after a massive Rs 13,000 price cut will now retail for Rs 36,999. Nokia had marked the MRP of Nokia 8 Sirocco as Rs 49,999.
