Earlier this week, HMD Global launched the Nokia 3.1 in India. The smartphone has arrived a month after it was initially launched at an event in Russia. The Android One smartphone has now gone on sale in the country, and here’s everything you need to know before purchasing it.
Nokia 3.1 price, offers
HMD Global has only launched on variant of the Nokia 3.1 in India. The variant with 16GB storage and 2GB RAM is priced at Rs 10,499. There is however no word on whether the 32GB+3GB RAM variant will come to our shores. Buyers are able to choose between black/chrome, blue/copper, and white/iron color variants.
The smartphone is available via Paytm Mall, as well as, nokia.com. It is also available across offline retail stores across the country. As is the norm these days, buyers will be able to choose from a bunch of offers. These include five percent discount for ICICI debit and credit card users, and two Rs 250 movie vouchers that can be redeemed on Paytm. While buying the device offline, if the buyer scans the Paytm Mall QR code, they will be entitled to 10 percent cashback.
There are also a few benefits for Nokia 3.1 buyers who are Idea Cellular or Vodafone subscribers. On recharge of Rs 149, customers will get 1GB data daily along with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 28 days. Those upgrading from a 2G or 3G phone to Nokia 3.1 will get 1GB data per day for 28 days.

Nokia 3.1 specifications, features
As far as specifications are concerned, the Nokia 3.1 flaunts a 5.2-inch HD+ LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a MediaTek 6750 octa-core chipset.
The device also features a 13-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a 2,990mAh battery. As a part of the Android One program, the device runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. The company has also promised guaranteed updates to Android P, and Android Q next year.
