Nokia 3.1 Plus, the latest Nokia-branded smartphone from the Finland-based HMD Global is all set to go on sale in the Indian market from October 19. The company had already launched the device at an event on October 11. The device serves as the successor the Nokia 3.1 that the company launched back in August. HMD Global has priced the device at Rs 11,499 for the top-end model with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is no information available about the model with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage during the launch of the device.
The device is scheduled to go on sale starting October 19 both on online as well as offline channels. The company will also be selling the device on Nokia.com in addition to the usual retail channels. Interested buyers can visit the online or offline platform or outlet of their choice to get their hands on the device. HMD Global has also teamed up with Airtel to offer Airtel subscribers, 1TB of 4G mobile data on a plan for Rs 199. The device is available in three colors which include Blue, White, and Baltic.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus sports a 6-inch display with HD+ resolution, and 18:9 aspect ratio without any notch. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with an Octa-core CPU which is clocked up to 2GHz.
As mentioned previously, the base variant of the device comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage while the top end variant comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The device comes with a dedicated microSD card slot if users are running out of storage space.

HMD Global has added a dual camera setup on the back of the device which comes with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 which is used for depth sensing. The dual camera setup also comes with an LED flash unit on the back. Moving to the front, the company has opted for an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and it also supports AI enabled bokeh mode.
Nokia 3.1 Plus is powered by a 3,500mAh battery while running Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Since the device comes under the Android One program, it is likely that HMD Global will roll out the Android 9 Pie update in coming weeks, if not months.
