HMD Global launched the Nokia 3 smartphone in India in June this year. The company has also announced the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, but these two smartphones will be going on sale in mid-August. Home Credit India is a non-banking financial company that offers loans ate zero interest or at low prices to buyers. Currently, Home Credit India is offering the zero-interest EMI scheme on Nokia 3 units purchased only via offline stores. In order to avail the interest-free EMI option, the buyer must locate a store which Home Credit India has partnered with and make the purchase from that outlet. The EMIs are available for the six and seven months duration and it requires a certain amount of money as the down-payment. The company hasn’t disclosed the amount needed as the down payment, but it assures it is “affordable.”

Commenting on the partnership, Tomas Hrdlicka, Chief Marketing Officer, Home Credit India Finance, said, “This strategic partnership is aimed at enabling customers to have easier access to Nokia phones with hassle free financing options.”
Nokia 3 specifications, price
The Nokia 3 is the cheapest smartphone in the current Nokia smartphone portfolio. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,499 and competes against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Lenovo K6 Power among others.
The Nokia 3 comes with a 5-inch HD (720p) display and runs Android Nougat OS out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage (expandable via hybrid memory card slot). The dual-SIM device comes with 8-megapixel front and rear cameras. A 2,650mAh battery powers the smartphone. In India, the phone is available in four color variants – Silver White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper White.
