HMD Global recently launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone in India priced at Rs 10,999. The smartphone comes with stock Android 8.1 Oreo update without any bloatware. Now, Nokia has started rolling out a new build v1.100 which brings enhancements to the user interface, and improved system stability as per the changelog.
The update is about 120MB in size and it is rolling out over the air, and available to download, NokiaPowerUser reports. The changelog doesn’t mention any other changes, but the update could also include latest security patch. As per the publication, the update still doesn’t bring an option to hide the notch.

Nokia 5.1 Plus: Specifications and Features
The 5.1 Plus comes with a 5.8-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) resolution display, with a tall aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core chipset paired with Mali-G72 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. A microSD card slot (hybrid) is also present for further expansion.
Nokia has also included AI enabled dual rear cameras – a combination of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, you get an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. To keep things ticking, you get a 3,060mAh battery, and connectivity options such as Bluetooth, dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, GPS and Wi-Fi. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is an Android One-branded smartphone and HMD Global has also confirmed that it will be updated to Android Pie later this year.
