Two of the most popular mid-range smartphones, the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 are set to go on flash sale on e-commerce platform Flipkart today at around 12 noon. The listing for both the devices on the platform states that they are “coming soon”. Both devices are set to compete against each other in the highly competitive landscape of the Indian smartphone industry. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is priced at Rs 14,999 while the Nokia 6.1 Plus is priced at Rs 15,999.
Both the devices will be available as part of flash sales which means that they will be available in limited quantity. Smartphone makers don’t really reveal the number of devices that they release for the flash sale. However, the stock generally runs out in minutes if not seconds during the sale. As previously mentioned, both the devices will go on sale at 12 noon and potential buyers need to be ready for the sale.
Nokia 6.1 Plus Specifications
To recap, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The device comes with a dual SIM slot for connectivity with a 5.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display panel with 1080×2280 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is part of the Android One program and comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It is also set to receive Android 9.0 Pie update in company months.
Moving to the camera section, the device comes with a dual camera setup on the back with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. HMD Global has also added a 16-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies. Last but not the least, the device sports a 3.5-mm audio jack and USB Type-C port while running on a 3,060mAh battery.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Specifications
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ LCD panel with 2160×1080 pixels and 18:9 screen aspect ratio. Similar to HMD Global with its Nokia 6.1 Plus, Asus has added a Snapdragon 636 SoC. The variant that is set to go on sale today sports 6GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage.

It comes with a dual camera setup with 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor on the back and a16-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery which is more than the Nokia 6.1 Plus along with Android 8.1 Oreo.
