Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus still available at discounted prices on Flipkart

The two Nokia smartphones had got a price during the Diwali online sales.

During the recent festive season, Flipkart had sold the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone at discounted rates. Even though the sale is over, the Nokia 6.1 Plus continues to sell at a reduced price of Rs 14,999. The Nokia 5.1 Plus too continues to be available at Rs 10,499.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphones were introduced in August in India. These phones were launched with respective price tags of Rs 15,999, and Rs 10,999. These smartphones are available for purchase only on Nokia’s online store and Flipkart. However, only Flipkart is currently the Nokia 6.1 Plus with a discount of Rs 1,000, and the Nokia 5.1 with a price cut of Rs 500.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is equipped with a notched IPS LCD screen of 5.8 inches. The Snapdragon 636 chipset powers the phone along with 4GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 64GB.  For photography, the handset is fitted with a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera system, and a frontal shooter of 16-megapixel. It is packed with a 3,060mAh battery.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus includes the same sized screen as the 6.1 Plus. However, it features a larger notch. It also features the same 3,060mAh battery. The MediaTek Helio P60 chipset and 3GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 32GB. It houses a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera system on its rear, and features a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel.

Both the Nokia phones are Android One devices that come preinstalled with stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. Hence, these phones are expected to be treated with Android 9 Pie OS update soon. The same phones are selling in China with Nokia X6 and Nokia X5 monikers.
