A little over a week ago, HMD Global launched the Nokia 6.1 Plus in India. The smartphone, which packs a decent spec sheet and a premium design, is set to go on (flash) sale for the first time today. So, if you’ve finalized the Nokia 6.1 Plus as your next smartphone, here’s how you can grab one for yourself.

Nokia 6.1 Plus will be available through flash sale exclusively on Flipkart, starting at 12:00PM today. As is always the case with flash sales, the limited stock is sure to run out in mere minutes. Therefore, we suggest you get online a little before the sale’s commencement (on a fast network connection) to up your chances.

HMD Global has priced the Nokia 6.1 Plus at a competitive Rs 15,999. However, there are a couple of offers that you can avail to make things even better.

Airtel subscribers who purchase the smartphone shall be entitled to a cashback of Rs 1,800 and up to 240GB of free data, provided they recharge with one of the Rs 199/249/448 plans.

Other than that, HDFC credit card holders can purchase the Nokia 6.1 Plus at ‘No Cost EMI’. Also, buyers can exchange their old smartphone to get up to Rs 15,000 off the price of the 6.1 Plus. Flipkart itself is also offering an assured buyback (worth Rs 7,000) with the smartphone.

Nokia 6.1 Plus: Specifications and features

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, the Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The hybrid dual-SIM smartphone also supports microSD cards of up to 400GB.

Gracing the front of the 6.1 Plus is a 5.8-inch Full-HD+ notched display, making the smartphone HMD Global’s first to have a notch in India. The IPS LCD panel has a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Like the rest of HMD Global’s 2018 launches, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is an Android One-certified smartphone. It boots stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, with an upgrade to Android 9.0 Pie set to arrive later.

For imaging, the Nokia 6.1 Plus has a dual-camera setup at the back. It is comprised of 16-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel (depth) sensor, complete with gyro-EIS and FullHD video recording capabilities. A 16-megapixel front facing shooter is also there for selfies and video calls.

Having all modern connectivity options and ports (including 3.5mm audio and USB Type-C), Nokia 6.1 Plus is backed by a 3,060mAh battery.
