HMD Global, the Finnish company with license to sell Nokia-branded smartphones, launched Nokia 6 (2018) in India last month. The smartphone was introduced only in the form of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Now, it has silently listed the 4GB RAM variant as well on Amazon India. The Nokia 6 (2018) with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is listed on Amazon India for Rs 18,999 and will go on its first sale on May 13. The e-commerce giant has announced offers with up to Rs 10,000 with the smartphone. Along with 4GB RAM variant of Nokia 6 (2018), Airtel users will get cashback of Rs 2,000 when the customer makes mandatory recharge. It also comes with free subscription to Airtel TV till December 31, 2018. MakeMyTrip is offering 25 percent discount on domestic hotels while PICSDREAM users get 20 percent off on customizable prints. Nokia 6 (2018) was launched alongside Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco last month. The smartphone features aluminum unibody design similar to that of its predecessor but receives huge bump in terms of performance with faster processor and latest operating system. The Nokia 6 (2018) is cheapest offering from HMD Global to include Android One branding.
In terms of specifications, the Nokia 6 (2018) features a 5.5-inch LCD display with a Full HD display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display sticks with 16:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. It now comes in two storage options – 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage and a 4GB RAM variant offering 64GB storage.
On the camera front, the Nokia 6 (2018) gets a 16-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash. It also sports an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording. It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Since the Nokia 6 (2018) is part of Android One program, it will be one of the first few devices to get Android P later this year.

The Nokia 6 (2018) supports connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and uses USB Type-C port for charging. The Nokia 6 (2018) will be available in black, white and blue color options when it goes on sale on May 13. For the specifications, Nokia 6 (2018) seems expensive but HMD Global wants to sell user experience and software over pure hardware.
