nokia 8 leaked render

Nokia 8 has been a part of rumors mills for a very long time now. The smartphone anticipated to sport dual rear cameras finally seems to be ready for its launch. The Nokia 8 was accidentally listed on the company’s official website, but there is, however, no word on the specifications, pricing or the availability of the device. While we have already seen official press renders of the phone, this is the first time when the company itself has hinted towards the launch of the smartphone. The listing, however, was taken down later. The Nokia 8 is expected to launch on July 31. Also Read - Airtel uses Nokia equipment to successfully conduct first 5G trial in Eastern India

The page showed the front panel of the Nokia 8. The image on the page looked exactly what leaked in the renders so far. Having said that, the smartphone’s front comprises of capacitive touch button and a capsule-shaped home button, which is expected to double up as the fingerprint scanner. The front is also dominated by a display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t show the back of the smartphone. From what we know so far, at the back the smartphone is said to come with dual camera setup, laser auto-focus module and a LED flash all fixed in a cylindrical space. We can expect Nokia to come with interesting camera features considering, HMD Global recently announced its partnership with ZEISS.

According to a report, the pricing of the Nokia 8 is said to be 589 Euros, which is approximately Rs 44,000. If the Nokia 8 launches in India around the same price, it will compete with OnePlus 5, Honor 8 Pro to name a few. The smartphone will still be cheaper than Samsung Galaxy S8, Sony Xperia XZ Premium and LG G6. ALSO READ: OnePlus 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S8 vs HTC U11: Blind camera comparison

On the software front, the smartphone is likely to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Leaked renders suggest that the Nokia 8 will launch in blue color, but it is also expected to be available in silver, copper, steel and gold color options.
