The Nokia 8 is expected to be HMD Global’s next Android smartphone and could be launched as early as July 31. As its rumors grow, the Nokia 8 was recently spotted on an accidental website listing which was later removed. A new set of leaked images have now been spotted online which claim to be of the Nokia 8’s prototype unit. The leaked images give a well-rounded view of the smartphone in question.
According to the leaked images of the Nokia 8 on Baidu forums (spotted by Slash Gear), the smartphone sports a pair of dual rear cameras. The camera lenses are placed vertically as seen in previous images and the LED flash sits below. According to past rumors, the dual rear cameras are expected to feature laser auto-focus and come with ZEISS branding considering HMD Global’s recent partnership with Zeiss.
The Nokia branding is visible just below the dual rear-camera module on the smartphone. More sightings include a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille at the bottom, with the 3.5mm audio jack on top. On the right side are the power button along with the volume rocker. Up front, there is a Home button which would possibly double-up as a fingerprint sensor and two capacitive touch buttons on either side of the home button. The front panel has thin bezels and the display is visible too showing the lock screen wallpaper. ALSO READ: Nokia 8 silver edition leaked in new renders
