In the last five months, Nokia has launched a total of four phones, the refreshed Nokia 3310, and the Android-powered Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6. However, among the most awaited smartphone is the yet-to-be-launched Nokia 9. And despite so much anticipation, surprisingly, not a lot has been revealed about the smartphone. But, a new leak about the smartphone has come up with some extremely interesting details.
According to the leak, the Nokia 9 may be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 chipset, which would be accompanied by 8GB of RAM. This is in contrast with previous rumors, which hinted at 6GB or 4GB of RAM. With the newest Qualcomm processor and an 8GB of RAM on board, the Nokia 9 will stand shoulder to shoulder with flagship devices like Samsung Galaxy S8, Apple iPhone 7, and the LG G6.
Besides this leak, very recently, it was also speculated that the Nokia 9 will feature a dual rear camera module arranged in a vertical fashion. In terms of specifications, the leaks till now hint that the Nokia 9 may feature a 5.3-inch QHD display with an Always On feature. It is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with a Pixel-like launcher in Nokia-blue color. With the camera being the highlight of the smartphone, reports indicate that it would feature a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera module for DSLR-like effects.
