HMD Global may have said that the Nokia 9 will not be launching this year, but that is in no way stopping the leaks. The latest leak is an alleged real-life photo of the smartphone that shows its entire front side.
The leaked photo surfaced on Weibo (spotted by MySmartPrice), and it is pretty much clear that the Nokia 9 won’t be featuring a notched display. In fact there are generous bezels on the top and bottom. But what makes the device look premium are the edges that curve on both sides. This is similar to what you see on the recent flagship Samsung smartphones.
Though the front design reminds us of the Nokia 8 Sirocco, the curves on the Nokia are more pronounced. There is an USB Type-C port at the bottom, which means the device could come sans a 3.5mm audio jack. Again this would be similar to the Nokia 8 Sirocco.
The leaked photo doesn’t really reveal much else, but we have already come across rumors stating that the highlight of the Nokia 9 will be the penta-camera setup at the back. This setup is rumored to include a combination of two 12-megapixel sensors, two 16-megapixel sensors, and an 8-megapixel sensor. Of these, the two 12-megapixel sensors are expected to boast OIS. For selfies though, there will be only one 12-megapixel sensor up front.
