The past few months have seen a truckload of leaks and rumors regarding HMD Global s upcoming flagship smartphone. Speculated earlier to be called Nokia 9, a report last month hinted that the top-tier mobile device could instead bear the moniker Nokia 9 PureView, primarily because of the five cameras it ll allegedly have at the back. So far, there s no information (official or otherwise) available as to when (or if) HMD Global will make the Nokia 9 PureView official. However, until that happens, you can take a look at the recent renders and a 360-degree video of the yet-to-be-launched smartphone and marvel at its design. In partnership with prolific tipster Steve H. (@OnLeaks), 91Mobiles has created some high-resolution renders as well as a 360-degree video of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView. The renders and video clearly show the alleged penta-camera system on the smartphone s back.
In line with previous leaks, the camera system features a hexagonal layout, with four lenses, LED flash assembly, and (most likely) focusing sensors making up the six vertices. The fifth lens sits in the middle of the entire arrangement. A horizontally-stamped Nokia logo is seen in the middle of the rear panel.
Coming to the front, it shows a large non-notched display, most likely with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The top and bottom bezels are there, but they re not that thick. The power button and volume rocker are seen on the right, while the bottom shows a USB Type-C port and a single speaker grille. Unfortunately, the 3.5mm audio port is nowhere to be seen.
