The past few months have seen a truckload of leaks and rumors regarding HMD Global’s upcoming flagship smartphone. Speculated earlier to be called Nokia 9, a report last month hinted that the top-tier mobile device could instead bear the moniker Nokia 9 PureView, primarily because of the five cameras it’ll allegedly have at the back.

So far, there’s no information (official or otherwise) available as to when (or if) HMD Global will make the Nokia 9 PureView official. However, until that happens, you can take a look at the recent renders and a 360-degree video of the yet-to-be-launched smartphone and marvel at its design.

In partnership with prolific tipster Steve H. (@OnLeaks), 91Mobiles has created some high-resolution renders as well as a 360-degree video of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView. The renders and video clearly show the alleged penta-camera system on the smartphone’s back.

In line with previous leaks, the camera system features a hexagonal layout, with four lenses, LED flash assembly, and (most likely) focusing sensors making up the six vertices. The fifth lens sits in the middle of the entire arrangement. A horizontally-stamped Nokia logo is seen in the middle of the rear panel.

Coming to the front, it shows a large non-notched display, most likely with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The top and bottom bezels are there, but they’re not that thick. The power button and volume rocker are seen on the right, while the bottom shows a USB Type-C port and a single speaker grille. Unfortunately, the 3.5mm audio port is nowhere to be seen.

In related news, it was recently reported that Nokia 9 PureView may have the internal codename ‘Olympic’ and run Android Pie out-of-the-box, complete with November security patch.

It’ll be interesting to see how Nokia 9 PureView turns out, whenever it’s finally launched.
