Nokia 9 has been seeing a lot of leaks and rumors recently. After appearing on popular benchmarking site GeekBench in the last week of May, the device has once again cropped up in a newer variant on the site. By the constant GeekBench listings, the Nokia flagship device of 2017 might come in more than a couple of variants. The latest listing shows a variant of the upcoming smartphone boasting 6GB of RAM. Nokia 8, which has been long anticipated to be the flagship device was soon upstaged by rumors surrounding Nokia 9. While initially there was hardly any information regarding the device, the grapevine has been abuzz with news and the expected launch date of the Nokia smartphone. HMD Global has revived the Nokia brand and launched a slew of Nokia phones already. While the smartphones are yet to make their way to India, the revamped version of the iconic Nokia 3310 recently went up for sale in the country. In terms of design, there are multiple rumors surrounding the Nokia 9. As there are no final details, press renders show different versions. However, the one similarity among all the leaks is the presence of the dual-camera module on the rear of the phone. Additionally, the phone is also expected to be water and dust resistant. The phone is expected to come with relatively slimmer bezels and larger display size.

Taking a look at what is known about the device, Nokia 9 will come with a 5.5-inch QHD display. The phone will most likely be protected with the 2.5D curved display and Gorilla Glass. The phone will sport Snapdragon 835 processor. Previous listings have suggested just one internal storage variant – 64GB and it is unsure if the phone will come in other variants or have a memory card slot for expansion. The phone will also come with a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup (the resolution of both the lenses could vary or be the same) and a front camera of the same resolution. Certification sites suggest the phones will come in both, single-SIM and dual-SIM versions. The phone will most likely run on the latest Android version, (Android Nougat out-of-the-box with an Android O update rolling out soon). There is no word on the launch date of the phone and which market will it be announced in first.
