Right after the recent rumor of a Nokia 9 with 8GB of RAM was leaked, a specification sheet of an unknown smartphone with very similar vitals has now been spotted on a benchmarking website. Called the ‘Unknown Heart’, a new benchmark listing claims the Nokia 9 may have appeared on Geekbench’s database.
Quite definitely, the most attractive bit of this listing is the 8GB of RAM onboard. The device is listed with an octa-core Qualcomm chip clocked at 1.90GHz. It shows the device running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. As for the result of the benchmarking test, the listing shows a single-core performance score of the device as 615, whereas it has a score of 1116 on a multi-core performance.
Further, considering the codename ‘Unknown Heart’ on this listing, we should probably throwback to another recent leak of a purported Nokia 9, where a screenshot of the device specification was leaked. That image too talked about a device, that went be the same codename. The leak revealed that the Nokia 9 would feature a 5.27-inch display, with 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution. This listing, however, showed 4GB of RAM on board and 64GB of internal storage. Some previous leaks have also hinted at the Nokia 9 featuring 6GB of RAM. As for the recent leak of a Nokia 9 with 8GB of RAM that was mentioned above, it claimed that the new Nokia flagship would be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 chipset, which would be accompanied by 8GB of RAM. Other than that, it was also speculated that the Nokia 9 will feature a dual rear camera module arranged in a vertical fashion. The leak also showed the presence of the 3.5mm headphone jack, despite the fact there is also an USB Type-C port on board.
Besides that, leaks till now also hint that the Nokia 9 may feature a 5.3-inch QHD display with an Always On feature. It is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with a Pixel-like launcher in Nokia-blue color. With the camera being the highlight of the smartphone, reports indicate that it would feature a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera module for DSLR-like effects.
