Nokia has just announced its latest dual-SIM phone, the C2-03, which will bring premium features like navigation, hot swappable SIM cards and web apps to its low-cost S40 platform. The 2.6-inch resistive display is bright and legible even under harsh lighting condition. Nokia has done a good job by using bright colors for icons and bigger tabs to make the resistive display usable. Even though it is made of plastic, I found the build quality impressive. The new web browser for S40 brings web apps to the table, though with a twist. Rather than having web app icons appear on the homescreen, they come as shortcuts in the browser. Also, the phone does not support active dual-SIMs, which means only one SIM will be functional at a time. The C2-03 will have two other variants – C2-02 with single SIM and C2-06 that will come with premium colors like the gold one we have in our gallery. The C2-03 will be available in India in the third quarter and will be priced approximately at Rs 5,000 before subsidies and taxes.
