Here is Nokia’s maps and navigation service, which is already available on Windows Phone, iOS, Android and Firefox OS, and will now also be powering Tizen operating system.
Going by the Nokia’s Tweet, “We’re happy to power @TizenProject with maps and maps-related functionalities,” it seems like the Here maps and related features would come integrated with features or apps on the Tizen OS. Also, considering that Tizen OS is Samsung’s step forward to basically reduce its dependability of the Google’s Android OS in future and thus will not be supported by Google, there are strong chances for the OS to offer deep integration with Here maps.
