Frankly speaking, there is nothing surprising about the leaked specs, but still is pretty reassuring considering, the leak confirms the the 41-megapixel camera, but also confirms optical image stabilization and a six element lens that was first seen in the Lumia 925. Additionally, it has been revealed that users will be able to attain high resolution zoom up to 3x. Reportedly, the xenon flash will be for stills and the LED flash will be for video.
People who are worried that the massive camera sensor will give the phone unneeded bulk will crib about the not so slim 10.4mm thickness, but luckily it appears that Nokia has managed to keep the phone pretty light at 154 grams. Comparatively, the Lumia 920 was thicker at 10.7mm and much heavier at 185 grams.
Other specs include, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM for extra camera processing chops, 32GB of internal memory minus a microSD card slot and a 2,000 mAh battery. It will also have a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera with a wide angle lens and NFC with SIM based security, 2 microphones, IHF speakers and a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels.
Software wise, it will run on Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 Amber update and will have custom apps like Nokia Pro Camera mode and Nokia Smart Camera Mode. It will also support Nokia rice recording.
Details about the rumoured camera grip accessory have also been revealed.
