The long rumored Nokia Lumia 525 aka Glee was supposed to be unveiled at the Nokia World 2013, but for some reason missed the deadline. Today though, Nokia has finally unveiled the device on its website. Unfortunately there is no word on when the device will reach our shores. The Lumia 525 is the successor to the Lumia 520— Nokia’s highest selling Windows Phone. In terms of specifications, the Lumia 525 is the same as its predecessor, albeit with a bumped up RAM. This means that it comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1GHz. Other features included are a 5-megapixel rear camera, 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card along with 7GB of free SkyDrive space and a 1,430mAh battery that is said to last for 10.6 hours of talktime and up to 14 days on standby mode. Connectivity options include 3G support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and A-GPS. On the software front, the Lumia 525 runs on Windows Phone 8 with Lumia Black update. The phone will be available in multiple color variants including glossy orange, white, yellow and matte black. Though there is no price mentioned at the moment, it not likely to burn a hole in one’s pockets.
