Microsoft launched the Nokia Lumia 830 in India last week, priced at Rs 28,799. The smartphone that is described by the company as an “affordable flagship smartphone,” is now available on the company’s official India website. At the moment only the black variant is on sale, while the other color variants are listed under ‘Coming soon’. Same is the case with the Lumia 930, which too was launched on the same day. To recap on the Lumia 830’s specifications, it features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. As for storage, the smartphone offers 16GB with the option to expand it using a microSD card. Additionally, Microsoft is offering 1TB of free OneDrive storage for the first six months, post which it will cost Rs 150 per month. The Lumia 830 also features a 10-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization, 1-megapixel camera at the front, and a 2,220mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC, and on the software front, it runs on Windows Phone 8.1.
