Recent leaks have revealed that the James Bond inspired codenames Moneypenny and Normandy are likely to be Nokia s first dual-SIM Lumia 630/Lumia 635 and Android device respectively. Today, serial leakster @evleaks has added more weight to his claims by posting a screenshot and a group press renders of both the devices. The more interesting of the two is the screenshot of the Moneypenny. As seen in the image above, on the right-top corner we see two network bars, which indicate that the Lumia 630/635 is a dual-SIM 3G device. Additionally, at the bottom we see the three buttons, which means that the forthcoming device is likely to be Nokia s first to boast onscreen buttons.
As per earlier rumors, Nokia Moneypenny is set to be Nokia s first smartphone to run on the Windows Phone Blue or 8.1 Blue update. The update is expected to come with 3D touch gesture support, a notification center, a redesigned calendar and will feature a better multitasking menu as well as a Siri-like voice assistant called Cortana. Nokia too is rumored to be working on its own voice assistant.
@evleaks has also posted a group press photo of the Normandy, which as we mentioned, will be Nokia s first Android smartphone. The entry-level device resembles some of the recent Asha budget phones and is expected to run on a highly forked version of Android. Nokia is also likely to add its own services to the OS like Maps and Music Store among others, while ensuring all popular Android apps are available for it.
