Nokia s major comeback to the smartphone market this year began with the launch of the Nokia 6 smartphone. Under HMD Global, the iconic brand seems to be on a rigorous path of bringing in new smartphones to the table. We will witness more Nokia smartphones in the coming days with the next products waiting to be unveiled at MWC 2017 next month. Of all the devices expected, one is likely to be the rumored high-end Nokia P1. Now, based on all the leaked information, a concept render of the Nokia P1 has surfaced online showing what the smartphone could look like. The Nokia P1 is shown in three colors, black, white and silver. In terms of look and design, the Nokia P1 features a metal body with a sleek and glossy finish. The edges on the top and bottom part of the smartphone are curved with chamfered look. The smartphone is seen with very slim bezels on the sides which can almost fool one for a bezel-less display. Above the display, the Nokia logo is placed alongside the selfie camera lens.
At the bottom, the smartphone is shown housing a rectangular home button along with capacitive menu buttons. The rear camera lens, placed horizontally, is accompanied by a trio of LED flash, and the Nokia logo located below it. The power button and the volume rocker are located on the right side of the smartphone. Moving on, the concept is also seen sporting a USB Type-C port, with the 3.5mm audio jack sitting on the left and two small speakers on the right. The bottom part of the left side of the smartphone is also seen featuring a hybrid SIM slot.
Nokia P1 specifications
Based on what has been reported so far, the Nokia P1 is expected to feature a 5.3-inch display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone could come with 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of onboard storage. There are talks of 128GB storage option as well. In the photography department, the Nokia P1 is rumored to sport a 22.6-megapixel rear camera with Zeiss-certification. On the software front, the smartphone will most likely run on Android 7.0 out-of-the-box. For power, the Nokia P1 could opt for a 3,500mAh battery with quick charging capabilities. The smartphone is also said to come with IP57-level resistance to water and dust, and feature a fingerprint sensor as well. Nokia P1 price
There have been suggestions on the price tag of the Nokia P1 could be around $800 (Rs 54,300 approximately) for the 128GB variant. The 256GB variant could be priced at $950 (Rs 64,500 approximately).
