HMD Global, the new home of Nokia-branded phones, has started selling its phones and accessories in India directly through its website. The Finnish company now sells feature phones, smartphones as well as accessories. The website also offers free shipping, secure payments and a 10-day return policy.

The website lists all the products released by HMD Global under Nokia-brand so far. However, customers can only order Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 from the platform. The feature phones available for purchase include Nokia 3310 Dual SIM, Nokia 150 Dual SIM, Nokia 105, Nokia 105 Dual SIM, Nokia 230 Dual SIM, Nokia 216 Dual SIM and nokia 130 Dual SIM.

On the accessories side, HMD Global has listed a multitude of products including Nokia Active Wired and Wireless Earphones, Carbon Fiber Design Case, micro USB cable and stereo earphones. However, only the stereo earphones, Double USB Quick Charge 3.0 Compatible Car Charger have a listed price tag. Unfortunately, all the accessories are being listed as out of stock and you cannot buy any of them from the website.

To recall, HMD Global received license to sell Nokia-branded devices for next 10 year in 2016. The company showcased its first lineup of smartphones based on Android at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last year. The company followed with new product announcements at MWC this year and has even signed a deal to adopt Android One and Android Go programs from Google for all its products.

According to Counterpoint Research, HMD Global has managed to reach 1 percent market share in the smartphone market globally. The Finnish company is bigger than brands like OnePlus, LG and HTC and it is widely expected to increase its presence with new products this year. The current devices from the company are primarily available from e-commerce platforms like Amazon India and Flipkart and by widening its availability to its own website, the Finnish brand can bring some of its potential customers to its own website.
