Nokia has been pushing to reduce its Windows Phone 8 portfolio to lower prices repeatedly. This has been particularly important for developing markets and hence Nokia has been releasing devices like the Lumia 620 globally. At its Pakistan launch though, it did not only show off the Lumia 620, but it could have perhaps unwittingly showed a slide of what looks like a tablet that reminds of Nokia’s unibody industrial design seen in the Lumia 800, Lumia 900 and the Lumia 920. The image comes courtesy NokiaGadgets and by the looks of it the image was very similar to Nokia’s Windows Phone smartphones. Last year in an interview Nokia’s design chief Marko Ahtisaari admitted to spending a lot of time on a tablet design. Additionally reports from Taiwanese supply chain have suggested that Nokia is planning to launch a Windows RT tablet that will have an attachable keyboard that will house another battery. More recently, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has been quoted saying that the tablet market is an interest for the company and it is evaluating its options in that regard. This tablet has a rumored MWC launch so it cannot be far away.
