Nokia’s first forked Android driven smartphone the X or the Normandy is once again in news. @evleaks has posted some of the key specifications of the yet to announced Nokia X smartphone, which ensures that this would be a mid-range smartphone. The leaked information has confirmed that the Normandy/X will indeed be powered by a Snapdragon processor with dual-core and clock speed of 1GHz. Earlier reports have suggested it to be powered by a Snapdragon 200 quad-core chipset. The processor will be accompanied by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which will be expandable on a microSD card.
It will flaunt a 4-inch WVGA display, sport a 5-megapixel rear camera and house a 1,500mAh battery. Connectivity options will include support for dual-SIM.
Besides this, Nokia Normandy will also come with Nokia’s own application store as well as some of the pre-loaded third party apps on board. The phone will be based on its colorful, polycarbonate form factor and be launched in six colors.
