HMD Global is planning to launch the much anticipated Nokia X in the market. This information comes right after the device was spotted on TENAA with all the specifications. According to a poster posted on the Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo, HMD Global is planning to launch the device on May 16 at 2 PM local time in China (11:30 AM Indian Standard Time).
In addition to the details about the launch event, high-resolution images of the unreleased device were also leaked on Weibo. These images revealed the design of the Nokia X including the display notch on the front of the device and the bezel towards the bottom.
Nokia X will pack a fingerprint scanner on the rear along with a vertically arranged dual camera setup with a LED flash module.
The device will also come with a 3.5-mm headphone jack at the top of the device. We can also see the volume rocker and the power button the right side of the device in the images.
As previously reported, the TENAA listing revealed that Nokia X will feature a 5.8-inch LCD display panel with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels in 19:9 aspect ratio. It is taller than the 18:9 aspect ratio seen on most other devices and 18.5:9 aspect ratio seen on Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
