Nokia X6 to launch in China today: How to watch live stream, India time, expected price and more

The Nokia X6 is expected to be a mid-range smartphone priced between Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000.

After all the teasers, leaked photos and videos that we have come across so far, HMD Global is all set to introduce a new smartphone in the Nokia X-series. The event is set to take place in China and will kick-off at 2:40PM CST (12:10PM IST), and it will be live streamed as well. Teasers so far have highlighted the iPhone X-like display notch for the Nokia X6, and we have also seen it in the leaks. Also, most of the information has already been leaked, and official confirmation is the only thing needed.

The launch event will be live streamed on China’s retailer websites – Suning, Tmall and However, as it would be in Chinese language, it may be difficult to understand. Nokia X6 expected price in India

According to a listing on retailer Suning, we know the approximate pricing in China. The base storage variant of Nokia X6 with 3GB RAM is expected to retail for around RMB 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,500). Other variants with more RAM and internal storage are also expected.

The Nokia X6 will likely feature a 5.8-inch full-HD+ screen with 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, but a variant with MediaTek SoC is also likely to be in tow for the Chinese market. RAM is expected to range from 3GB to 6GB, while storage could be in two variants of 32GB and 64GB.

For shutterbugs, a dual camera setup comprising of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with Carl ZEISS lens, and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor is expected. Up front, will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera with AI processing unit to add DSLR-like bokeh effects, a previous leak had revealed. Besides China launch, there is no word on whether the smartphone will be extended to the other markets across the globe. But we will know more in a couple of hours when HMD Global officially launches the smartphone.
