HMD Global recently released the Nokia X5 and Nokia X6, both of which are the company’s first smartphones to bear notched displays. Just a couple of days back, HMD Global launched the global variants of these smartphones in India, the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus. Now, looks like the company is working on yet another smartphone – the Nokia X7.
An alleged front panel of the unannounced Nokia X7 has surfaced online. Spotted by Nokiamob, on Baidu, the smartphone appears to have a slightly larger display and a thicker notch like the Nokia 5.1 Plus, rather than a smaller one like on the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC, but there is no word on the display size or other specifications.

Nokia has already confirmed that it won’t be launching any new smartphones at IFA 2018 in Berlin, so the X7 may take a little longer to launch. There are chances where the smartphone could be unveiled sometime in Q4 2018, or even early 2019.
Meanwhile, the Nokia 6.1 Plus has been launched in India for Rs 15,999. For this price you get a smartphone with front and back glass design, near stock Android OS, dual cameras at the back, and more. The Nokia 5.1 Plus, on the other hand, has just been announced, but the company did not mention any price or launch date. But it is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000. It comes with an HD+ display, compared to the Nokia 6.1 Plus that flaunts a FHD+ display.
