Just two days back, nubia launched the N2 in India, and now another smartphone has been unveiled. The smartphone s highlight is its dual camera setup on the rear end. Called the M2, it is nubia s second smartphone in India with a dual camera setup after the Z17 mini. The smartphone is priced at Rs 22,999 and will be available for sale exclusively via Amazon India between July 10 and July during the Prime Day sale. Note that this smartphone will be exclusive to Amazon Prime customers only. The smartphone will be available in two color choices of Champagne Gold and Black Gold. The nubia M2 s highlight is its dual camera setup which is a pair of 13-megapixel Sony CMOS sensors where one is an RGB lens and the other is a Monochrome lens. The dual rear cameras come with f/2.2 aperture, Hybrid Focus, PDAF and 4K video recording capability. Up front, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel camera with 2 m pixel size and f/2.0 aperture.
Nubia M2 specifications
The nubia M2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display along with a 2.5D glass on top and Corning s Gorilla Glass for protection. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU for graphics. In terms of memory, the nubia M2 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 200GB via a microSD card. The nubia M2 is fuelled by a 3,630mAh battery along with the company s NeoPower 2.5 technology which claims that the smartphone can last a day on a single charge. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with nubia UI 4.0 on top. The connectivity options available on the smartphone include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, and Wi-Fi. More features on the nubia M2 include dual account support on apps like WhatsApp and Facebook, and split screen in portrait and landscape mode. The smartphone also comes with long screenshot feature that allows users to capture everything by scrolling down the screen. The smartphone also comes with screen recording which will be available on iOS 11 and rumored to come on MIUI 9. The nubia M2 is likely to face competition from smartphones like the Oppo F3 and Vivo V5s. Both the smartphones come with a dual camera setup and sport similar specifications.
