ZTE-owned Nubia has officially announced to launch the Nubia N1 Lite today in India. The company remained tight-lipped about the device until yesterday when it teased the device via the official Twitter account. Nubia N1 Lite was showcased back in February this year at the MWC 2017.
One of the key highlights of Nubia N1 Lite is the front-facing camera with LED flash and a fingerprint scanner, as teased in a series of launch posters. As of now, the pricing of the device in India remains unknown. However, Nubia N1 is currently priced at Rs 12,499 and the Nubia N1 Lite which is a scaled down version is expected to be priced lower in the segment.

Nubia N1 Lite specifications and features
To recall, Nubia N1 Lite has a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display with 2.5D curved glass on the top. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 SoC, coupled with Mali T720 GPU. Under the hood, the N1 Lite has 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Also, Nubia N1 Lite features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of optics, Nubia N1 Lite has an 8-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED Flash. As mentioned earlier, the front-facing 5-megapixel camera with f/2.8 aperture has a LED flash too. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box with a layer of custom UI running on top. To keep things ticking, the smartphone houses a 3,000mAh battery.
With the expected pricing under Rs 10,000, the Nubia N1 Lite is likely to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Lenovo Vibe K6 Power to name a few.
