nubia is all set to launch its next-in-line smartphone, believed to be the Nubia N2, in India. The Nubia N2 was earlier launched back in March in China, and it is the successor to last year launched mid-ranger Nubia N1. The company teased the launch earlier this morning via its official Twitter handle boasting the camera specs on the upcoming smartphone.
Nubia India tweeted, “A camera built to capture beauty in the blink of an eye. Launching on 5th July.” Alongside the camera capabilities, the mid-ranger smartphone is also said to pack a mammoth 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. The smartphone comes in two color options- Black accents of Gold and Champagne Gold. It is currently available in China for CNY 1999, which roughly approximates up to Rs 19,000. There is no official word from the company on India pricing of the smartphone and with new taxation structure in India, the smartphone could be expected to be price around similar lines.
Nubia N2 Features and Specifications
The Nubia N2 features a 5.1-inch HD(720p) AMOLED display with a 90 percent color gamut, as the company claims. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core 64-bt MediaTek MT6750 SoC coupled with Mali T860GPU. It has 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It also has a fingerprint scanner on board. In terms of photography, the Nubia N2 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, and f/2.2 aperture. Up front, it has a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. For the connectivity, Nubia N2 has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and GLONASS. On the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Nubia UI 4.0 custom OS. The smartphone measures 155 x 75 x 7.9 mm and weighs 180 grams.
