The successor to the Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone – Nubia Red Magic Mars – will be launched in China on November 28 at the Shanghai VSPN E-Sports Center. It is anticipated that the second gaming smartphone from Nubia, called the Red Magic Mars, will boast 10GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, similar to the Xiaomi Black Shark Helo.
Nubia had launched the Red Magic gaming phone earlier this year in April, and for the successor it started a crowdfunding campaign on Chinese e-commerce portal JD.com last week. The Nubia Red Magic Mars campaign met with overwhelming response, and customers who have backed the smartphone are expected to receive it by the end of the coming month.
Nubia CEO Ni Fei also shared the AnTuTu and Master Lu benchmarks screenshots of Nubia Red Magic Mars revealing its model number with few other details.
The Nubia Red Magic Mars was listed with ‘NX619J’ model number, and the Master Lu benchmark revealed that the phone features a FHD+ display, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM, although that could be the base variant of the gaming phone. It recorded a flagship score of 361,730 on Master Lu, which is quite impressive.
On AnTuTu, the Snapdragon 845-powered Nubia Red Magic Mars smartphone recorded an impressive score of 319,781. This score is not only higher than the newly unveiled Nubia X that scored 311,441 on the benchmarking platform, but also higher than Kirin 980 powered Mate 20 Pro that is leading AnTuTu October’s best performance Android smartphones with a score of 311,840.
