Nubia brand has launched two new smartphones in China, called the Nubia Z17S and Nubia Z17 miniS. While the Nubia Z17S is the company’s latest flagship device, the Nubia Z17 miniS comes with mid-range specifications. The USP on both the smartphones are the two pairs of cameras. The Nubia Z17S has been launched in two variants 64GB variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant with 8GB of RAM. The two variants are priced at RMB 2,999 (roughly Rs 29,600) and RMB 3,999 (roughly Rs 39,500) respectively. The Nubia Z17 miniS, on the other hand, will be available at RMB 1,999 (roughly Rs 19,700). The smartphone is said to go on sale in China starting October 19. Nubia Z17S specifications
The Nubia Z17S, which packs flagship specifications, will compete with premium smartphones from the likes of OnePlus, LG and Samsung. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.73-inch LTPS TFT all-screen display with a resolution of 1080×2040 pixels. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC.
On the camera front, the device sports a 12-megapixel + 23-megapixel camera combination on the rear with 2x optical zoom. Up front, there are two 5-megapixel cameras. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box, and supports 4G LTE connectivity, USB Type-C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, in terms of connectivity. Priced in the mid-range category, the Nubia Z17 miniS flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor. On the camera front, the smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel camera at the rear and up front, there is a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel camera combination. The phone is further backed by a 3,200mAh battery. Just like the Nubia Z17S, the Z17 miniS also runs on Android Nougat, and supports 4G LTE connectivity and USB Type-C for charging.
