ZTE-backed Nubia has launched its flagship Z9 Mini in India today. The smartphone is priced at Rs 16,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon India from today. The company currently offers only the black variant of the Nubia Z9 Mini in India. The Nubia Z9 Mini was unveiled a few months ago in China, and as far as the specifications are concerned, the smartphone sports a 5-inch FHD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the photography front, the Nubia Z9 Mini sports a 16-megapixel autofocus rear Sony sensor with LED flash. Additionally, it sports a 8-megapixel front shooter with 80-degree wide-angle lens with NeoVision 5.0 Camera UI. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nubia 3.0 UI on top of it, and packs a 2,900mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi, dual-SIM support, LTE connectivity, and Bluetooth.
Nubia Z9 Mini will compete with other Chinese rivals like Xiaomi and OnePlus, and will also stifle Meizu s launch, as it enters the India market with the M1 Note Pro.
