OnePlus is quite confident about the OnePlus 2, and has already boldly proclaimed that it is better than next year s flagships. Lau posted these photos on OnePlus China forums, which compare OnePlus 2 s low-light photography with the iPhone 6 and macro shots with the Galaxy S6. As you would expect from such comparisons, the OnePlus 2 photos are a tad better than its rivals. Despite the comparison photos, it is too early to comment on just how good the OnePlus 2 camera is. The jury is still out on what camera the OnePlus 2 will boast. Rumors peg a 16-megapixel or 13-megapixel snapper with laser autofocus, supplemented with a 5-megapixel selfie camera up front.
In the run up to the launch event next week, OnePlus has revealed quite a bit about the forthcoming flagship. It will be powered by an improved version of the Snapdragon 810 processor, feature 4GB of RAM, an USB Type C port, a fingerprint sensor, 3,300mAh battery, with faster LTE connectivity, and dual-SIM card slots.
As for pricing, the company has revealed that the OnePlus 2 will cost somewhere between $320 and $450. OnePlus will also be introducing a new invite system that is easier to get, due to a relatively larger inventory they are preparing ahead of the launch.
Some more camera samples follow, with OnePlus 2 photos on the left.
