OnePlus 2 is all set for a July 27 VR launch but before that happens, a Weibo user (first spotted by Mobipicker) has posted an image of what he claims to be the sketch of the OnePlus 2. Along with the sketch, the user also revealed that the new flagship will feature a 5.5-inch to a 5.7-inch display.
This is somewhat similar to the OnePlus One screen, which features a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The OnePlus 2 is also pegged to have a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. The tipster further informs that design-wise the OnePlus Two will look a lot like the OnePlus One, albeit a few changes. He said that the OnePlus 2 will sport a thin metal build, and the number of speaker holes will be doubled. He also tipped the smartphone to be 5mm to 6mm thin, as compared to the OnePlus One which was 8.9mm thin.
OnePlus has in the past planted leaks for upcoming and often non-existent products. For its new smartphone, the company has been revealing information in the firm of regular teasers. We already know that the OnePlus 2 will be powered by an improved version of Snapdragon 810 chipset, will have a USB Type C port, and will be priced upwards of $322 (Rs 20,540 approximately).
From what we have heard so far, it could flaunt a 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and on the software front, Android 5.1 Lollipop (wrapped under Oxygen OS in India/Hydrogen OS in China) out-of-the-box.
