OnePlus 2 is conducting a virtual reality event on July 28 starting 7.30AM to launch its upcoming flagship OnePlus 2. They’ve already sold the cardboard VR headsets to many users, and now the company has just launched its Android app, from where it will stream the event live to all fans across the world. The app will stream the live event in 3D, and in 360-degree interactive experience for all those who don’t have the VR headset as well. OnePlus has been building up to the launch event for quite some time now, and is now all set to reveal the smartphone. Additionally, the company has also opened up the reservation list that will give you a priority for the invite. OnePlus has assured that there won’t be any supply constraint like last time, as the company has readied 50 times more stock. But if you really want to buy the OnePlus 2,your chances may increase if you put yourself up on the reservation list.
In India, the launch event is scheduled to begin at 7.30AM on July 28. The OnePlus 2 has been confirmed to have an improved version of the Snapdragon 810 processor, USB Type C port, a physical home button with a fingerprint sensor, a 3,300mAh battery, faster LTE, and dual-SIM card support.
It has also confirmed that the smartphone will cost between $320-$450. OnePlus will also be introducing a new invite system that is easier to get, due to a relatively larger inventory they are preparing ahead of the launch.
As far as rumors are concerned, the OnePlus 2 is said to feature a slimmer full-metal body, a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) display, and a combination of 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
