Turns out, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users are luckier than the new OnePlus 5T users at least in terms of receiving the new OS update. An open beta for Oreo on the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T began rolling out in October, but this update is being made available for all users as an official build.
