OnePlus will finally be unveiling this year s flagship killer , the OnePlus 5 on June 20. Following its official unveiling, the OnePlus 5 will be launched in India on June 22. The OnePlus 5 will be one of the most powerful smartphones to be launched this year, with its prime feature, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 835 SoC already confirmed. The design area is where many leaks have been battling it out, particularly with the rumored dual camera setup. A new image has emerged online, claiming to be the final look of the OnePlus 5. AndroidPolice shared the said image of the OnePlus 5 which it confidently believes is the official look of the flagship. The cutout image reveals the front and back of the device, also showing the dual camera setup. Firstly, the OnePlus 5 resembles a look similar to the newly launched Oppo R11 in terms of its overall design. The front panel shows very thin bezels on the sides but a rather big bezel on top. On the left side, the volume rocker and the mute switch are visible with the power button sitting on the right.
Moving on to the more important part, the dual rear cameras on the OnePlus 5 are placed horizontally on the top left corner with the LED flash on the right side. This design is very similar to the Oppo R11 which also comes with a dual camera setup and a design heavily borrowed from the iPhone 7 Plus. Past leaks had shown a similar iPhone 7 Plus-like for the OnePlus 5. However, in this image the antenna bands are not visible as seen in the iPhone 7 Plus. While the authenticity of this image cannot be justified, if OnePlus does go ahead with this design, it would invite criticisms of being heavily inspired by the iPhone 7 Plus.
