OnePlus had recently teased the rear panel of the OnePlus 5 which confirmed the dual rear cameras. The OnePlus 5 was teased yet again in a TVC in India which also showed a glimpse of the smartphone s rear panel. The design has been highlighted for its striking similarity to the recently launched Oppo R11, whose design is originally attributed to the iPhone 7 Plus. The dual rear cameras are placed horizontally on the top left corner of the smartphone with the LED flash sitting on the right side. There are two antenna lines passing through the top and bottom part of the smartphone, akin to the iPhone 7 Plus. The OnePlus logo is placed on the center as seen in its previous smartphones.

The front panel of the OnePlus 5 hasn t been confirmed so far but an image shared by Evan Blass today hints on some possibilities. What s confirmed is that the OnePlus 5 will house a front fingerprint sensor. This is presumed to be embedded under the physical Home button. Going by the latest image, the OnePlus 5 will either sport a 2.5D curved glass display or a display with almost no side bezels. The notification slider and volume rocker will be placed on the left side, while the power key will be on the right. Overall the OnePlus 5 will feature an aluminum body. In terms of display, OnePlus has confirmed that the smartphone will offer a Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels). Although the display size isn t known as yet, many rumors suggest 5.5-inches for the OnePlus 5. Additionally, the display on the OnePlus 5 is expected to come with Corning s Gorilla Glass 5 protection. A 2.5D curved glass will possibly be onboard going by the latest leaked image, and also considering that the OnePlus 3T has the same. The dual-rear cameras have so far been the talking point for the OnePlus 5, and something the company has majorly focused on. In a video by The Verge, OnePlus talks about the camera specifications which will be a pair of 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel Sony sensors with f/1.7 aperture and f/2.6 aperture, respectively. The second 20-megapixel camera which is a telephoto lens on the OnePlus 5 acts like a zoom closing up to the subject without having to crop the photo. OnePlus claims that this is the highest resolution offered by a dual-camera setup on a smartphone. Processor, RAM and Storage

OnePlus 5 will be a powerful smartphone as it will house Qualcomm s Snapdragon 835 SoC under its hood. The smartphone s memory will also be massive with reports constantly suggesting an 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage. OnePlus 5 is said to launch in another variant as well with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is no clear indication on the battery for the OnePlus but it is expected to be fuelled by a 3,330mAh battery. Price and Availability

OnePlus 5 has had its specifications and design leaked mercilessly so far. Its pricing hasn t been spared either with a leak suggesting Rs 32,999 for the 6GB RAM variant and Rs 37,999 for the 8GB RAM variant. This would make the OnePlus 5 the most expensive OnePlus smartphone so far. OnePlus has always stuck to the mid-range category and is praised for offering flagship performance at an affordable price.

But with the stakes raised high, the OnePlus 5 with 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 and dual rear cameras seems fitting at Rs 37,999, if the leak is to be believed. As mentioned before, the OnePlus 5 will be available for sale in India at 4:30 PM exclusively via Amazon India.
