Another interesting day in the world of technology draws to a close and some of the headline grabbers today were evidently OnePlus, which is set to introduce the variant of its recently launched OnePlus 5 smartphone, along with Google, whose second generation Pixel 2 XL went up for sale in India. Here’s a look at all the top tech news stories of the day.
OnePlus 5T leaked in new video
OnePlus 5 users are waiting anxiously for the upcoming 5T, but thanks to a leaked video, we now know all that the flagship smartphone will include. OnePlus 5T is set to be launched on November 16, however, ahead of the official launch, an unboxing video of the smartphone emerged online. This is the second such video of the smartphone giving us a closer look at it. One of the most important elements to notice is that the OnePlus 5T is seen running the current Android Nougat OS and not Oreo. As reported earlier, the video confirms the presence of bezel-less display and dual cameras.
Google Pixel 2 XL sale
The larger variant of Google’s second-generation Pixel smartphone, the Pixel 2 XL, went up for sale today in India via Flipkart. The Pixel 2 duo were first announced last month and the Pixel 2 went on sale first on November 1, with the Pixel 2 XL starting today. Price of the Pixel 2 XL start at Rs 73,000 for the base model with 64GB of internal storage and goes up to Rs 82,000 for the 128GB versions. Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are exclusive to Flipkart.
Flipkart Billion Capture+ sale
Joining the bandwagon of smartphone manufacturers, Flipkart also introduced its Billion Capture+ smartphone last week and today, it went on sale. The Billion Capture+ is available in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM, which is priced at Rs 10,999, and the other with 4GB of RAM, which is priced at Rs 12,999. USP of the smartphone is its dual cameras at the back which include a combination of 13-megapixel+13-megapixel sensors with additional features such as super night mode and Portrait Mode.

UC Browser disappears from Play Store
UC Browser, which by estimates is more popular in India than its Google counterpart, reportedly went missing from the Google Play Store. The reason was reported to be misleading campaigns which UC Browser allegedly ran. However, the company soon responded to the taking down of its browser from the Play Store, saying the app has been removed temporarily and an internal investigation will be conducted to resolve the problem.

Vivo V7 launch date
Known for building selfie-centric smartphones, Vivo is yet again set to introduce its Vivo V7 smartphone in India. The company launched the larger V7+ in September and now is looking at introducing the selfie-centric V7. The Vivo V7 will launch on November 20 in India and the company has sent out media invites for the event. The highlight of the smartphone is said to be its 24-megapixel front camera and a full-view display. It is also speculated that the Vivo V7 will be the world’s first device to be powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC.
