OnePlus 6 gesture controls
OnePlus continues with its series of teasers, and today’s hints at advance gesture controls on the OnePlus 6. The company first introduced gesture controls with the Android Oreo Open Beta 3 update for the OnePlus 5T, but the company seems to be upping the gesture support with the OnePlus 6. The video shows off various swipe actions, which resemble to the ones seen on Apple iPhone X.
Nokia phones to manufacture in India by 2022
HMD Global has announced that it plans to start locally manufacturing some of the components that go into the design and development of its mobile phones. The company says it plans to execute this move in a phased manner and will switch to manufacturing all components in India by 2022.
Moto G6 series launch date
Motorola today reportedly has sent out invites for an event on April 19 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where the company is speculated to launch the Moto G6 series smartphones. The invite doesn’t reveal any information about the upcoming smartphones, but resembles the wallpaper seen in the leaked renders of the Moto G6.
IPL 2018 free livestream
Hotstar has rolled out a new Rs 299 All Sports Pack (per year), which will let you stream IPL and other sports matches live. Or, you will have to subscribe to the Hotstar Premium pack for the same. However, if you are an Airtel or Reliance Jio user, you can stream the matches live on Hotstar for free.
Hotstar has revealed that Airtel customers will be able to watch all the IPL 2018 matches live without subscribing to the All Sports Pack or the Hotstar Premium pack. To avail this offer, you need to head to the Airtel TV app, and tap on IPL content, which will launch the Hotstar app to start the streaming. Reliance Jio users, on the other hand, will find a link on Jio TV app.
