The latest leak reveals a mirror black finish
OnePlus 6 will be officially launched at an event in London on May 16. The smartphone is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated flagship device this year, leading to multiple leaks and hype for the smartphone. While OnePlus has already confirmed that its flagship killer will come with a glass back and support a notched display, a new leak reveals the upcoming smartphone in all its glory. A new leak spotted by WinFuture reveals the OnePlus 6 in its ‘Mirror Black’ finish. The publication states the listing was spotted on Amazon Germany’s microsite for the smartphone. The images posted on the e-commerce platform confirms that OnePlus 6 will use a glass back as opposed to metal back seen on its predecessor. The ‘Mirror Black’ finish in particular looks striking but less intimidating compared to the Jet Black finish on iPhone 7 models. Considering that Amazon Germany has listed the smartphone in Mirror Black finish, it is clear that this particular model will be different from Midnight Black finish seen on previous OnePlus flagships. It is not immediately clear whether OnePlus plans to offer multiple color options at the time of launch but a previous leak did show the smartphone in white finish. In the past, the Chinese smartphone maker has offered only two color options with an exclusive color reserved for the higher storage variant.
The render leaked via Amazon also show OnePlus 6’s notched display, which seems similar to that of Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition smartphones. While the renders seem to depict the smartphone as an all glass design, it will have a chin at the bottom. At the back, there is a vertically stacked dual rear camera system along with flash and fingerprint sensor. It is not clear whether OnePlus 6’s dual cameras will be better than that of OnePlus 5T.
The render also confirms that the alert slider will be placed at the right side of the device. In contrast to other smartphone OEMs, OnePlus is retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack with the OnePlus 6.

Apart from renders, Amazon Germany has also given away crucial information including the price of the smartphone. The listing mentions that OnePlus 6 will start at 519 (approximately Rs 41,800) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. There will also be a 128GB model, which has been listed for 569 (approximately Rs 45,800). OnePlus has also confirmed that it will launch a variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage this year.
The pricing seems to be a huge premium over last year’s model and might prove rumors that OnePlus 6 will be the most premium OnePlus smartphone yet. The smartphone will be launched in India on May 17 and will go on its first sale via Amazon India on May 21.
