Along with the much-rumored OnePlus 6, the company will also be launching a Marvel Avengers Edition of the flagship smartphone. The smartphones will first be unveiled at an event in London on May 16, followed by a launch in India on May 17. An alleged retail box of the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition has surfaced online, courtesy of IndiaToday. The publication claims that the retail box for the special edition device is bigger than the retail box of the standard variant. Secondly, the box also features a kevlar finish with a chequered pattern that was also seen in a promo video revealed by OnePlus a week ago. Apart from the special retail box, and a couple of cosmetic differences, the Marvel Avengers Edition will be the same as the OnePlus 6 standard variant. It was the same last year too, when OnePlus launched the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition in collaboration with Disney.

OnePlus 6 rumored features, specifications
The OnePlus 6 will feature a full-screen display upfront with the notch at the top. The smartphone will also come with a glass back, which could be a hint at a possible wireless charging feature.
As far as specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 6 is expected to flaunt a 6.2-inch display with 2280×1080 pixels resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood will be the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. There is also expected to be up to 256GB internal storage on offer.
While there are no specifics, the smartphone is expected to boast a dual-camera setup at the back, and some manner of water and dust resistance. On the software front, it will run Android 8.1 Oreo with Oxygen OS, and feature a repositioned alert slider.
