All eyes are set towards the launch of the OnePlus 6. The launch, expected to be earlier than usual, with reports suggesting that it will take place by the end of this month or in the first half of May. As the successor to the OnePlus 5 and its variant OnePlus 5T, the next-in-line flagship smartphone is again expected to boast top-tier specifications and features, part of which have already shown up on the internet.
In the latest leaks around the OnePlus 6, multiple colors of the upcoming smartphone have been teased on Weibo. Based on the renders, the smartphone could arrive in three color choices of black, blue, and white. While the colors are quite standard, the highlight will be the now visible alert slider in red color.
Recently, OnePlus teased the alert slider through its Twitter handle and indicated that it will come with dual functionality on the upcoming smartphone and allow you to also adjust the focus of the camera. The new color of the slider will make it easy to distinguish. In addition to the color options, the renders also reveal some of the key specifications and features of the OnePlus 6.
If we go by the renders, the OnePlus 6 will feature a notched display at the front, while the bottom bezel will be minimal for an edge-to-edge screen experience. The dual-camera setup is placed at the back vertically, followed by the LED flash, and fingerprint sensor. From the images it is difficult to say if the smartphone will only have the physical fingerprint sensor at the back or allow for display-based authentication as well.
Overall, the aesthetics on the OnePlus6 appear to have been improved. Instead of the metal back, there appears to be glass rear panel, slightly curved on the sides. This gives an even more premium touch to the smartphone.
