OnePlus has to be the key highlight of the day as it launched its Red variant for the International market. The new variant comes in somewhat different color and finishes when compared to the red variant of the OnePlus 5T. Smartphone giant Samsung also launched its Galaxy On6 device in the market as a Flipkart exclusive for Rs 14,490. In addition to that, reports emerged on the internet indicating that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will bring the biggest update to the S Pen stylus in recent years. Reports also indicated that Apple may finally bring the much requested dual-SIM support to its upcoming models of the iPhone and Motorola India revealed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone, the Moto E5 in India as an Amazon exclusive. OnePlus 6 Red edition
Continuing the trend of past launches, OnePlus has launched a red version of its latest flagship in the market, the OnePlus 6. The phone comes with a dark red finish, which the company claims to have designed by using a never before used blend of the optical coating, evaporative film and six panels of glass. The glass coating on the device is designed to offer more depth.
In terms of specifications, the device comes with 8GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage and is expected to be priced similarly on Amazon at Rs 39,990. The phone is said to launch globally next week but will be available in India for sale starting July 16.
Samsung Galaxy On6 launch
Samsung has launched the latest device from its Galaxy On series, the Galaxy On6 in the Indian market. The device is priced at Rs 14,490 while sporting an Infinity display, Face unlock feature, and more.

The device will go on sale on Flipkart from midnight of Jule 5. On the specifications side, the device will come with a 5.6-inch HD+ super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It will run on Exynos 7870 SoC with octa-core CPU paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with the option to expand storage with a microSD card slot using a card of up to 256GB in capacity.
Samsung has added a 13-megapixel sensor with a f/1.9 aperture on the back with LED flash module and an 8-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a LED flash module on the front.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to revamp the S Pen
According to a leak, the revamped S Pen will include Bluetooth support enabling users to use the stylus to control music playback, and even control long-range self-timer for the camera.
Upcoming iPhones to offer dual SIM support
Reports have emerged that indicate that Apple is planning to launch a dual-SIM variant of the iPhone in China so that iPhone can better compete with its competition. However, this variant will only be limited to China as the country does not support Apple SIM which allows for dual SIM support with the help of a single embedded SIM.
Apple SIM is a virtual SIM which allows users to switch between service providers according to the pricing, connectivity and other offers that they provide.
Moto E5 Plus launch date for India confirmed
The Lenovo-owned company, Motorola India has started sending out a save-the-date poster that reveals the India launch date of the Moto E5 Plus. According to the poster, the Moto E5 Plus will be launched on July 10. The poster also confirms that the upcoming smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon India with offline availability limited to various Moto Hubs spread across the country.
The company had previously launched the device in Brazil earlier this year. According to the company, the device will come with a 6-inch HD+ screen with 1440 720 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Motorola has packed Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage in the E5 Plus.
