As we close in on the imminent launch of the OnePlus 6, there seems no stopping the barrage of leaks and teasers. The teaser photo is accompanied by a caption, More immersion in a refined form factor. Are you ready for the #OnePlus6? If we look at the teaser image closely, it seems clear that the OnePlus 6 will be a tad slimmer and wider than its predecessor. It will however retain the antenna lines at the top and bottom edges. Another visible change the positioning of the Alert Slider button. Since its introduction on the OnePlus 2, the button has been placed on the left edge. But with the upcoming OnePlus 6, the button will presumably be moved to the opposite edge. There it will be placed with the power button. The positioning is in line with a recent leak, which also showed the button in red color.
Since its introduction, the Alert Slider has basically been used to toggle the smartphone s sound profile. Users have been able to choose between three modes None , Priority and All . With the upcoming smartphone though, OnePlus has teased a new functionality wherein users will be able to adjust the camera focus using the physical button.
For now, that s pretty much what has been revealed in the latest teaser image shared by OnePlus. We are bound to hear more in the run-up to the launch event, which is widely expected to take place sometime towards the end of this month or the first week of May.

Based on what has been leaked and confirmed so far, the OnePlus 6 is expected to flaunt a 6-inch full screen display with a notch at the top. Because of the full screen display, the device is also expected to support Apple iPhone X-like gestures.
Under the hood will be the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, along with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus 6 too will boast a dual-camera setup, but this time around the module will be vertically aligned at the center of the back panel. On the software front, the smartphone will run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
